Apa kaitannya...
Aku perlu mencari sebabnya... adakah ada perkaitan antara BF dgn PCOS? Aku terdiam sejenak setelah membaca artikel dalam PA&MA Ogos'08 yang mengaitkan PCOS dgn BF. Memang aku telah didiagnoskan ada PCOS sebelum mengandung lagi. Setelah 'google', artikel dalam link di bawah sedikit sebanyak menerangkan kaitan antara PCOS & BF.

Aku teruja untuk meneruskan pumping walaupon sejak sebulan lalu Husna sudah mula mixed feeding dengan formula (masa kerja). Tidak sampai hati sebenarnya nak bagi formula tapi aku akan usahakan juga supaya milk supply bertambah even mungkin ada kaitan dengan PCOS yang mengurangkannya. Ya Allah! kuatkanlah semangat aku demi memberikan yang terbaik permata hati mak; Husna...
Jadi, apa perlu dibuat sekarang ialah mencari LC & O&G bagi mendapatkan khidmat nasihat. Ada sesiapa pernah berhubung dengan mana-mana LC kat area KV?

Tentang PCOS: Rawatan
Most of pcos sufferers will be diagnosed properly before any treatment suggested to them.
For my case, Prof concluded that I've to undergoe laparascopy procedure. Other term used is ovarian drilling (sound unbelieveble?). Alhamdulillah, I already successfully undergoed the procedures on 11th April '07. Don't worry because you're fully unconscious during the procedures. Just ask your doctor in detail if you want to know. This procedure took 1-cm insertion on 3 places below your belly.The procedure took about 3 hours to be finished. After that, I was given 2 weeks MC...

what is the root cause of P.C.O.S?
Insulin Resistant, is the root cause of PCOS.
PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) is a hormonal imbalance linked to the way the body processes insulin after it has been produced by the pancreas to regulate blood sugar (glucose).
The underlying cause of PCOS, Insulin Resistance, has many factors that contribute to its presence in the body. In essence, our environment and lifestyles have evolved too rapidly for our bodies to keep pace. We are still genetically "wired" to thrive on the entrenched habits of our ancestors, who consumed different, nutrient-rich foods, a diet low in carbohydrates and who sustained greater levels of movement and exercise.

Tentang PCOS
PCOS? Ape tu? Apa kaitannya dengan kesihatan wanita? lepas jumpa Prof. pon masih blur lagi.. tak faham apa yg Prof cakap.. tapi yg pasti, ada pembedahan kecil kat lower abdomen a.k.a laparoscopy... PCOS = Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, ikut pemahaman kite, ketidakseimbangan hormon yang mengakibatkan ovum tidak dilepaskan pada waktu yg sepatutnya.. menstrual cycle akan jadi tidak menentu atau takde langsung.. bersambung...
